      As a photographer, it is important to note that there are certain equipment you should have. The first that comes to mind is a camera but it goes beyond that. Definitely, some of the equipment come with a price but it’s not a crime to start slow and more tools later on.
 
There are so many tools you need as a photographer but here are some of them to help you decide.
 
1. Camera and Lenses

This has to be top of the priority list. First of all you need to understand your niche. The kind of photography that interests you will determine the kind of Camera to get. So you will want to make research on what models will work best for your particular niche.
2. Tripod

A Tripod is used for both motion and still photography to provide stability. It will also help you take pictures without necessarily moving the camera around. Therefore, you will definitely need that as a photographer.
 
3. A  Camera Bag

As you move from place to place, you need to ensure your equipment are safe. So get a good camera bag to keep everything you need.
 
4. Extra battery and Memory card

Low memory space or low battery is not something you will like to encounter in the middle of a shoot. So it is important you have extra battery and also memory card to use when needed.
 
5. Laptop

After taking pictures you might need to do some editing on the pictures. So you need a laptop to do that and also some picture editing softwares.
 
6. Photo Printer

You need to get a good photo printer that will make your images really stand out.
 
7. Lens Hood

Many photographers place lens hoods on their lenses. It is also used on the front end of a lens to block the Sun or other light source(s) to prevent glare and lens flare.
 
8. Camera Strap

As a photographer you will want to get camera strap. It is almost as important as your camera. It allows you to perform other tasks while keeping your camera safe.
